As a food reviewer at Restaurant World, I am thrilled to share what makes D’Angelo rise above the average sandwich shop. The heart of D’Angelo's appeal lies in its freshly grilled sandwiches, particularly the iconic Number 9. Ashley took care of me she made my day better. She was very polite attentive and great with other customers as I ate. Food was good and made great by the gentleman on the grill. Place was clean and neat. Can't say enough about the woman at the register, it says Ashley on the receipt so I'm assuming it was her. Hope her and her staff get the recognition they deserve , because this isn't found in food service anymore. Thank you Ashley

Where do I start? We were back East (from CA) for a family trip. We are originally from the East Coast and grew up on D'Angelo's. A family favorite. We haven't been able to find anything that compares in Los Angeles (other than Soda Pop's that unfortunately closed.) So we made it a point to stop in for #9 sandwiches (steak!!) and some lobster rolls (so happy we were there when they were in season!) I can not say enough great things about the team at the 2175 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA 01040 location. I wish I got the woman's name who took our order. She was one of the nicest people we've ever met. She shared in our excitement and enthusiasm while we ordered. A huge smile on her face and nothing but kindness for every question we had, and for every extra cup, replacement roll, second bag of chips we asked for. The sandwiches did not disappoint. They were DELICIOUS!! The place was immaculate. The bathrooms spotless. The entire team lovely. We randomly stoppped at this location on our way to our Uncle's house. I am so so so happy we did. If you have the chance, stop in. You'll be happy you did!!

Great place and greater people! Food is fresh and always served with a smile.....always a go to

Thanksgiving Toasted Classic Oh. My. God. Russ was right, best sandwich ever and I didn't have to wait until Thanksgiving.

Great sandwiches for a fast food place. They have the athentic type flavors because its cooked right their on the grill and served with all fresh ingredients. Definitely a lunch time favorate.

You either love D'angelos or you don't. I personally do, and every now and again my guilty pleasure is to pick myself up a chicken 9. (Sometimes steak, too, which is also awesome) This location is as good as any, and I love the organized chaos of how they run their kitchens. It's theater AND quick and good food. Folks at this location have always been super nice to deal with and my food is quick and well-made.

I have stopped at this D'Angelos 3 times and it is wonderful every single time. The staff is friendly and makes our delicious order just as we ordered! I get off the highway just to go here! Thanks!

I've had Charley's and Subway, but never ate at one of these before. I didn't have any issues, like the other reviewer. I got a Vermonter, and it was freaking delicious! The bacon and cheese combo was great! I got a small and was totally full. My friend got a large and had to take the other half to go. My other friend got a Caesar salad wrap, he was impressed by the croutons inside the wrap! Now that's the way to make it! We were all really happy with our meals. Apparently, you should head there early because of the lunch rush. We were there at 11:15, and the rush didn't happen just yet. For a fast food restaurant, this is pretty good. I have to say that I like it better than the other 2 shops I listed earlier. Would I come back? Totally! It's not a Frigio, but still pretty good :)
